About GeoSea


GeoSea is DEME’s specialist in complex offshore marine engineering projects. GeoSea offers a wide variety of services to owners of offshore assets, marine consultants and marine contractors in the sectors of offshore Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and Civil Engineering.

These services consist of the hammering and drilling of large diameter piles for offshore constructions such as jetties, mooring facilities, bridges, wind farms, the installation of offshore structures, offshore wind farms and platforms and geotechnical investigations at large depths.


Furthermore GeoSea offers supporting and logistic services as well as survey and inspection services and maintenance and repair services of offshore structures through its subsidiary GeoSea Maintenance.

GeoSea relies on its ability to provide innovative techniques and high operational reliability through high-tech equipment. GeoSea’s jack-up platforms include 'Innovation', 'Neptune', 'Thor', 'Goliath', 'Vagant', 'Buzzard', 'De Zeebouwer'.






Within the joint company High Wind (GeoSea, Sarens, G&G International, SBE and PMV (Participatie Maatschappij Vlaanderen)) GeoSea is developing an installation tool to set up offshore wind turbines under high wind conditions.

GeoSea has grown to be a reliable and recognized services provider for the majority of European utility companies in the field of green energy development. GeoSea has participated in the construction of large-scale offshore wind farms including the Alpha Ventus project, the Baltic 2 wind farm, the Trianel West Borkum II wind farm in German waters, the Walney wind farms, the Ormonde wind farm in the Irish Sea and the C-Power and Northwind wind farms off the Belgian Coast.
