Hydraulic Engineer

Summary

As a Hydraulic Engineer you will focus on a wide variety of challenges. Those challenges include among other hydraulic questions, the design of scour protection for offshore wind farms and the design of rock berms for the protection of power cables and pipelines. You will be responsible for sound and expert output to support our project and tender teams or work on one of our many R&D projects.

The engineering department in Breda consists of approximately 30 employees. You will work in an international team of 8 Hydraulic and Geotechnical engineers responsible for the design of seabed protection around subsea assets, cable protection strategy and the cable route design for offshore windfarms. Together with the team, you will work on making the energy transition a reality.

We're looking for a Business Analyst who'll strengthen the Hyport Energy corporate development team, reporting to the General Manager. The position will be based at the Head Office of the DEME Group, and be directly involved with the multidisciplinary project development teams. The Business Analyst must have a desire to work in international teams and have attention to detail. It is expected to be flexible in terms of location of projects and travel frequently on a fly-in/ fly-out basis. The Business Analyst might be relocated for several months to a particular area according to the project(s) she/he is involved in.

Afzink coördinator for de Oosterweeltunnel

Met het Oosterweelproject wordt de ring rond de stand Antwerpen gesloten. De complexe mobiliteit in en rond de stad wordt met dit ingrijpende infrastructuurwerk grondig verbeterd. De nieuwe ringweg bestaat onder andere uit een nieuwe kruising van de Schelde. Er is gekozen voor een afgezonken tunnel. De 8 tunnelementen worden in Zeebrugge gebouwd, over de Schelde getransporteerd tot nabij Antwerpen en dan finaal afgezonken in het noorden van de stad. Om dit te coördineren zijn we op zoek naar een afzincoördinator.
