As a project engineer in the Fleet Engineering department you are responsible for the execution and follow up of engineering projects related to our fleet. You will work on highly innovative projects for our modern and versatile fleet. The main working location will be our headquarters in Antwerp, but you will also occasionally travel to the vessels.
As a Senior Procurement Engineer, you work in the DEME office in Luxembourg and support our DEME EPC Procurement department in the procurement of Submarine Cable Systems, Cable Termination & Testing Services and Cable Protection Systems.
As a Naval Architect you will assess the workability limits of the offshore operations. The workability is a key element in the feasibility during the tender phase and is also one of the most important drivers in the decision making process during project execution. You will assess the workability by simulating the operations in hydrodynamic software packages and by co-engineering with colleagues in other disciplines in an international context. The work is mainly done from the office but offshore interventions are part of the job.
The geotechnical department gives support to the tender and project department of DEME Offshore in Zwijndrecht. The department assesses the identification and containment of risks related to the deployment of jack-ups and the design & installation of foundations. The expert geotechnical engineer serves as internal consultant for the geotechnical team with respect to advanced FE calculations and other non-standard assessments. This will require full understanding of the requirements of the project, follow up of international publications to ensure latest developments are accounted for and independence when scoping required studies.
The main working location will be from our headquarter in Zwijndrecht with sporadic international trips and visit's to installation vessels.
