Summary

As a Senior Category Buyer Shipyards at DEME, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sourcing strategy for shipyard-related categories, including vessel construction, dry-docking, repair, maintenance, conversions, and related maritime services. Leveraging your extensive procurement expertise and market knowledge, you will drive strategic supplier relationships, optimize total cost of ownership, and ensure reliable supply chain performance in support of DEME's global fleet operations. You will play a key role in managing complex procurement projects, negotiating high-value contracts, and mentoring less experienced buyers.

DEME is looking for a USV Operator to operate the Dolphin unmanned survey vessel remotely from our control room in Blankenberge, Belgium.

In this role, you will combine your nautical expertise with innovative remote vessel operations. Working in a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, you will be responsible for the safe and professional operation of the USV from shore, including the basic mechanical maintenance of the vessel.

Together with the team you will be transforming DEME’s data into high quality (BIG) data sets and reports. You will enable our businesses to gain insight in their data so they can support their decisions with facts. You will be working with various kinds of data on multiple projects.
You will be creating, maintaining, and supporting data pipelines with information coming from our vessels, projects, campaigns, third party data services, and so on. As Tender Manager Subsea Cables, you will be responsible for analysing international tenders and commercial opportunities and managing high-quality proposals for complex subsea cable projects. Under your leadership, the tender team will assess the project scope, define the execution strategy and installation methodology, and develop the project planning, risk profile and pricing.

Subsea cable tenders are multidisciplinary and technically complex. They require close cooperation across commercial, engineering, operational and supporting functions.
