As a Design Engineer, you will work within our Engineering’s and Technical Development team in our headoffices in Zwijndrecht. You will perform different design works and support Project Engineers with 2D and 3D modelling activities.
On our vessel Omalius, the drillers are responsible to bring our geotechnical soil investigation projects to a good end, under supervision of the Works Manager. The team consists of Assistant drillers, Drillers, and a Drilling Supervisor. The Rig Mechanic supports the drill team for all maintenance-associated activities and reports to the vessel’s Chief Engineer. Everybody needs to work together as real team players. As an Electrical Service Engineer you are one of the specialists within our Technical Department, responsible for our fleet of vessels.
Our Hopper dredgers (TSHD) and Cutter dredgers (CSD) work around the world on the most challenging dredging projects. As an Electrician on board, you are responsible for the electrical and electronic equipment on board. We are looking for both experienced Electricians with III/6 or III/7 certificates, or starters coming from school.
The workshop/intervention Electrician independently performs work on electrical and instrumentation systems in the workshop in Zwijndrecht, Belgium, but is flexible to be sent to a site or on board a vessel for a short period. The Electrician reports to the workshop responsible or Chief Engineer of the vessel.
Our Fall Pipe vessels and Cable Laying vessels are highly technological equipment working in the offshore industry. As an engineer you are part of the engine room watch and perform watch duties, with due consideration for the engine room safety.
