Within our Fleet Organisation, which ensures all maintenance and technical management of our fleet of dredging and offshore vessels, you work in the team that is responsible for managing all vessel certificates. These are all certificates required according to the International Maritime Organisation’s standards (such as classification , Flag State, …).
You provide support to our Technical Superintendents and Vessel Managers for all certificate related matters, answer their questions, assist them in applying for and obtaining the necessary documents and assist in the implementation of new regulations, … . Outside DEME, your main contacts are government agencies and classification societies.
As a Docking Team leader you will be working on the dockings of our dredging and offshore fleet worldwide. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team managing various aspects of the docking projects.
As a Project Engineer Innovation you will be part of the DEME-group Innovation Team. The key objective is to support DEME’s capability to develop and protect innovative strategies, products, services and processes. You will be part of a dynamic team working from our headquarters in Antwerp.
As a Mission Equipment Expert, you will be responsible for dedicated technical follow-up of certain types of Mission Equipment such as drill rigs, Monopile grippers, Cable Installation System, trencher, Modiga and deck cranes (among others). You will work for our mobilization projects for our Offshore Activity Line fleet at the Deme Offshore Base in Vlissingen.

As a Mobilization Team Leader, you will be responsible to coordinate mobilization projects for our Offshore Activity Line fleet at the Deme Offshore Base in Vlissingen. You will coordinate the projects taking care schedule, budget and QHSE aspects, among others.

As a Project Controls Engineer you will be temporary assigned to provide support and assistance during the start-up of a project after contract award. You will analyse the employer requirements and implement according to the corporate Project Management System (PMS) as best fit for the project. You are the key person in making sure that the minimum of processes & tools are implemented for Schedule, Contract, Interface and Cost management.
With your experience you will create and improve the content in the PMS and will coordinate the alignment of PMS-content between Activity Lines. You need to be familiar with all phases of project management and have to be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds. You like to understand quality control concepts and you are good in developing creative and innovative ways to improve business processes.

Als Project Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de technische uitvoering van onze projecten en zorg je voor acquisitie van nieuwe projecten. Je werkt in een team met meerdere collega’s en wordt ondersteund en gecoacht door de Project Manager en/of Operations Manager. Samen help je de Vries & van de Wiel tenders te winnen en projecten veilig uit te voeren om zo een duurzame toekomst te bouwen.
The docking controller joins our docking teams to financially control the repair budget start-to-end. He/she also coordinates all administrative necessities (logistic, housing, practical) during the complete repair of our vessels.
As a project manager for dockings you are responsible for the overall management of the project. This will include activities like major repairs, mobilisations and modifications of our fleet. Depending on the size, you will manage one or more projects simultaneously.
