As a Design Engineer, you will work within our Engineering and Design Office team in our head office in Zwijndrecht, Belgium. You will perform different design works for our dredging projects worldwide and you will report to the Design & Engineering Team Leaders. The variety in the types of tasks is very broad and is touching upon many aspects of ship’s structures and systems.
As a Docking Team leader you will be working on the dockings of our dredging and offshore fleet worldwide. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team managing various aspects of the docking projects.

As a project QHSE engineer you will be part of the team that is on site on one of our dredging projects worldwide, responsible for the maintenance and control of QHSE-S practices on site, as well as inspecting all activities and equipment to reassure proper operation and implementation of procedures.

As a Logistics Engineer, you will ensure the organization and implementation of the logistics process aimed at providing DEME with timely access to assets at optimal conditions. You will work out and follow up on the entire supply chain of Offshore Renewables projects during the complete life cycle of projects. Involved in all dredging and offshore projects worldwide, the survey department is responsible for the organisation of all hydrographic and topographic measurements in all phases of the works. For our offshore fall pipe vessels, we are looking for a party chief that will be responsible for all survey activities on board. Are you able to lead the team of surveyors?
As a Project Controls Engineer, you will be temporary dispatched/assigned to provide support and assistance during the start-up of a project after contract award. You will analyze the employer requirements and implement according to the corporate Project Management System (PMS) as best fit for the project. You will make sure as a minimum the processes & tools are implemented for Schedule, Contract, Interface and Cost management. At DEME we strive to have sound project management capabilities and systems that can develop and deliver projects successfully, time and time again and without waste.
As a Project Controls Engineer, you will be temporary assigned to the Central Project Management Office (CPMO) to provide support and assistance in the creation of the DEME aligned Project Management System (PMS).
The goal is to facilitate all new DEME's projects with a PMS Library with documents, templates and applications to quickly startup a project.
With your experience you will create and improve the content in the PMS, and will coordinate the alignment of PMS-content between Activity Lines.
You will provide support and assistance during the start-up of a project after contract award, by analyzing the contract and implement according to the corporate PMS as best fit for the project.
You will assist, coordinate or manage the development of solutions for tenders and projects to work leaner, smarter and more integrated.
You will train project staff on topics regarding process management, project controls or the implementation of new developments.
You will monitor the performance of the PMS-content on live projects, where you will make suggestions to improve the efficiency & effectiveness
To do this you are familiar with all phases of project management, able to work with people of diverse backgrounds, understand quality control concepts and develop creative and innovative ways to improve business processes.
