As a Cable Lay Superintendent, you will work on board of one of our offshore vessels and be responsible for the loading, transporting and installation of subsea cables. You will lead a team on board and will coordinate all necessary works and stakeholders to make sure cable is laid in the most safe and optimal way. Together, we work on DEME’s vision of creating a sustainable future.
As a works manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of the works on site. You can rely on a team of site superintendents and project engineers. You report directly to the project manager. You focus on the bigger scheme of things whereas the superintendents deal with day to day issues.

As a Lift Engineer at DEME Offshore, you will join a core team of specialists who focus on the preparation, execution and standardisation of (heavy) lift operations within the company. You will collaborate with tender and project teams by providing engineering support, including critical review of relevant documentation, and sharing of your knowledge and expertise with regards to their lifting scopes. You will contribute to the development of in-house calculation tools and the DEME-specific lifting standards and procedures.

As a Methods & Mission Equipment Engineer at DEME Offshore, you are involved with the engineering of new transport and installation methods and the development of corresponding mission equipment. You will provide engineering support during project execution and follow-up on performance and any modifications or improvements to existing equipment.
The Methods Engineering & Equipment and Technology Development group develops transport and installation methods for the different DEME Offshore activities safeguarding technical feasibility, operational efficiency and workability. Additionally, the team develops the required equipment for the projects focused on safe and efficient operations, ensuring high workability and accelerating the pace of innovation. These Developments are coordinated in close cooperation with the commercial and operational departments to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.

Involved in all dredging and offshore projects worldwide, the survey department is responsible for the organisation of all hydrographic and topographic measurements in all phases of the works.
