As a QHSE Engineer you will be part of the team that is on site at our offshore base in Vlissingen in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and supervision of all QHSE related matters. The offshore base is a yard and warehouse for storage of offshore equipment, but also a location where there are activities like fabrication, repairs and mobilizations and demobilizations of vessels and equipment.

As a Tender Planning Engineer, you will be temporary assigned to provide support and assistance during the tender phase until the hand-over to the project team. Based on the Scope of Work, employer requirements and scheduling guidelines you will prepare the level 3 contractual baseline schedule. You will run and analyze various scenarios for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of our projects. You will help to identify project risks and opportunities and make suggestions for optimization of our activities. Together, we work on DEME’s vision of creating a sustainable future.
As a QHSE Engineer you will have a variety of tasks such as assisting the project and tender departments, update and maintain our management systems, set up QHSE campaigns, take part in incident investigations, risk assessments and audits. You will mainly work from our headquarters based in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.

As a marine coordinator you will be part of the marine operations team within the QHSE department of DEME. As a project QHSE engineer you will be part of the geosciences team on our office in Milmort (Belgium), responsible for the maintenance and control of QHSE-S practices at the office and on site for worldwide geophysical projects, as well as inspecting all activities and equipment to reassure proper operation and implementation of procedures.
