DEME is a world leader in the highly specialised fields of dredging, marine engineering and environmental remediation. DEME can build on more than 140 years of know-how and experience and has fostered a pioneering approach throughout its history, being a front runner in innovation and new technologies.
While the company's roots are in Belgium, DEME has built a strong presence in all of the world's seas and continents, operating in more than 90 countries worldwide.
In an operational environment with an involvement in complex contract structures, with high expectations from clients and with increasing regulatory restrictions from authorities, DEME is looking for a Contract Manager to strengthen its Contract Management Division.
As a Design Engineer you will focus on complex civil and maritime works (i.e. port & harbor constructions, immersed tunnels, tunneling and foundation works). We provide our client's advices and services at all stages of their projects, from early in the design phase till the end of the construction phase. Because of the wide variety of specialisations, we are looking for motivated candidates to reinforce our team.
New projects such as the Fehmarnbelt link between Denmark and Germany, the new lock of Terneuzen and many other projects, require a multidisciplinary and innovative approach.
The Design Manager oversees the design activities of the EPC projects to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach. He/She has the ability to work collaboratively with a large number of disciplines and trades, and uses BIM and Systems Engineering as tools to streamline his/her processes.
Are you up for a unique and challenging experience?
