DEME’s fleet includes 90 major ships and some 200 auxiliary vessels, which together provide a platform for the competitive and efficient executions of complex and multidisciplinary projects all over the world. As an Electrical Service Engineer you are one of the specialists within our Technical Department, responsible for our fleet of vessels.
Our Hopper dredgers (TSHD) and Cutter dredgers (CSD) work around the world on the most challenging dredging projects. As an Electrician on board, you are responsible for the electrical and electronic equipment on board. We are looking for both experienced Electricians with III/6 or III/7 certificates, or starters coming from school.

As Project engineer you will be involved in marine infrastructure/civil projects (i.e. port & harbor constructions, immersed tunnels, tunneling and foundation works) that complement and reinforce DEME’s activities. New projects such as the Fehmarnbelt link between Denmark and Germany, the new lock of Terneuzen and many other projects, require a multidisciplinary and innovative approach.

QHSE is therefore one of the supportive departments that is involved in all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental matters on our projects, vessels, and in HQ. As a safety engineer you will be part of the team that is assigned to execute the dockings and major repairs of our vessels, in shipyards worldwide. In this role you will assist in safety matters, being responsible for the maintenance and control of safety practices on site, as well as inspecting all activities and equipment to reassure proper operation and implementation of procedures.
