DEME has once again been named most attractive private sector employer in Belgium at the Randstad Awards 2019. The award is based on the results of a survey among 14,000 respondents.
DEME has been awarded a major contract to carry out the deepening of the Elbe fairway in Germany. This prestigious contract confirms DEME’s technological expertise in complex dredging and marine engineering projects and its strong position in the German market, where it has had a presence for more than 50 years. The contract has an approximate value of EUR 238 million (VAT included).

DEME’s newest, self-propelled DP2 jack-up vessel ‘Apollo’ was officially named in the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium on February 21. The ceremony was performed by Olympic, World and European Champion heptathlon Nafi Thiam.
